Since the day it opened, Hotel Baume has always received lots of requests for fashion photo shoots, but the one that took place recently was a little out of the ordinary.
As part of their mission to help artisan migrants and refugees in France find a post that takes full advantage of their skills, the association La Fabrique Nomade chose the Baume to take photos and produce a little film of their new collection.
Entitled Traits d’union 6, the limited edition collection is being supported by actress and former Miss France Sonia Rolland, also a sponsor of the association…
The theme of La Fabrique Nomade’s new collection, created by these talented refugees and French designers, is L’Onde (The Wave), an invitation to share and enjoy positive energies and good vibrations.
Launched on 10th March 2022 at an evening event at the association’s offices (also used as a sales space and workshop) in the Viaduc des arts near Bastille (you can go down and visit them here), the photos for the collection were taken in different rooms of the Hotel Baume.
You may recognise the hotel’s particular colour palette and art deco interior design…
And from the looks of things, the launch was a success!…
